139.     (ILLUMINATED MANUSCRIPT HEBREW-ITALIAN RENAISSANCE) Records issued to Landadio, Moyses Jewish merchant of Pisa and his family, from Firenze in Italian-Latin language, mostly different permits (deed on settlement and practice of profession etc.), manuscripts from between 1546 and 1573. Some records with hand drawn illuminated initials, illustrations (3 leaves). The bound book containing the manuscripts includes the history of the family written with contemporary Italian Hebrew hand writing. Italian hand written date on the inner side of the gilt leather cover (1562). Dimensions: 23 x 17 cm (9 by 7 in.). Lacking the rear leather cover and possibly the first leaf of the Hebrew manuscript. SPECIAL RARITY!

148.     (MEGILLAH MANUSCRIPT!!!) Hand written Esther scroll on parchment. Complete, perfect piece. It comes from Eastern Galizia, around 1800. Height: 46 cm. In its original box. The hand written script has some faded letters but it is clearly legible all along.
