zöld, barna és arany szövéssel. Palesztina, 1900-1910 között. (Bezalel

(mentele). Héber feliratú
párnázott tízparancsolattal és koronával, a két kőtáblát két hímzett
oroszlán tartja. Alul virág váza és színes növény díszítménnyel, felül
Keter Tora (a Tóra koronája) hímzett héber felirattal. Sárga rojt szegélyekkel.
Magassága: 74 cm, szélessége: 43 cm.
Silk Torah cloth (mantle). Hebrew inscribed, padded Ten Commandments and
crown, supported by two embroidered lions. Below vase with flowers and color
floral ornaments, on the top Keter Torah sewn Hebrew inscription. Bordered with
yellow fringes. Height: 29 inches. Width: 17 inches.

Bordó bársony Tóra-köntös
(mentele). Arany szövésű,
flitterekkel, koronával, kőtáblával, két oroszlánnal és virágvázával,
mintával. A kőtáblán a Tízparancsolat kezdő szavainak héber szövege. Felül:
Keter Tora (= a Tóra koronája), alul: TRPA (=5681 = 1920/1921) és az adományozó
nevének (Avigdor Immanuel Epstein) héber szövegével. (A Tóra-köntös bélelt,
az arany szövés helyenként megrongálódott. Az Immanuel névben két betű
felcserélődött!) Magasság: 78 cm, szélesség: 38 cm.
Red velvet Torah cloth (mantle). Golden embroidered crown, Ten
commandments with Hebrew initials, two lions and vase, floral ornaments. Above
Keter Torah, below TRPA (=5681 = 1920/1921) and the name of the donor in Hebrew.
(wadded mantle, the golden embroidery damaged slightly. Two letters misplaced in
the name Immanuel!) Size: 30 ¾ x 15 inches.

Tóra-kárpit (kaporet)
bordó bársonyból, dús arany hímzéssel, gyönyörű díszítéssel és
iniciáléval, magyar felirattal. Felül a budai Goldberger család nemesi címerével,
alatta latin felirat: Virtute et labore. Alul: „kész(itették:) Sternberg és
Társa hímzők, Budapest”. Magyar felirat a Tóra kárpiton: ”Goldberger Sámuel
és neje Sándor fiúk felavatási ünnepélye emlékéül Tischri 19. 5657
(=1896. szeptember/október)”. Felül kissé kopott, a készítői felirat széle
foszlik, egyébként tökéletes, kiváló állapotban. Magasság: 57 cm., szélesség:
103 cm.
Torah carpet (kaporet) of red velvet, richly emroided with golden thread,
beautifully ornamented with initials, Hungarian inscription. Above the noble
coat of arm of the Goldberger family of Buda, below latin inscription: Virtue et
labore. Below name of makers. In Hungarian donation inscription commemorating
the bar mitzvah of their son, from 1896. Slightly worn on the top and some of
the embroidery, otherwise in excellent condition. Height: 22 ½ inches.

selyem és bársony, tojáshéj színű alapon, arany színű szövetbéléssel.
Széle és belső kerete arany paszománnyal, alul arany szegélyrojttal. A héber
felirat „K(eter) T(ora). A tisztelt férfi és tiszt adománya, Kalonimosz és
szerény élete párja, derék asszonya, Keve Szimchele, lányuk lelke emlékéért,
aki értékes asszony volt, Rivka, emléke áldott legyen, 5650. évben, a kis
időszámítás szerint (=1890)”. Magasság: 187 cm, szélesség: 124 cm.
Torah curtain (parochet), silk and velvet, beige base with golden thread.
Edges and sides bordered with golden bullion, golden fringe below. The Hebrew
inscription: ’K(eter) T(orah). Donation of the honored man and officer
Kalonimos and his valiant wife Keve Simhele, in respect of the memory of their
daugther who had been a worthy woman, Rivkah, his memory shall be blessed, in
the year 5650’ (=1890). Height: 73 ½ inches. Width: 49 inches.

Zsinagógai terítő
Dávid-csillaggal és virágkoszorúban,
A. L. monogrammal, valamint 5692 (=1931/32) évszámmal, vörös hímzéssel,
lila selyem alapon, paszomány keretben. Eredetileg tfilin zacskó lehetett,
majd zsinagógai használatra átalakították. Mérete: 41x24 cm.
Synagogue tablecloth with star of David and AL initials, 5692 (=1931/32)
embroidered with red thread, on purple silk base, bordered with bullion.
Originally could be a tefilin bag, later modified for use in the synagogue.

macesz áldás héber szövegével. Kissé hiányos arany rojt szegéllyel, művészi
munka. Északkelet-Magyarország, 19. század vége. Átmérője: 35 cm.

kerek, három rétegű fehér selyem és vászon sárga virág díszítéssel és
héber feliratú hímzéssel: a széder-tál kellékei és „Jövőre Jeruzsálemben”.
Körben hullámos szegéllyel és arany rojtokkal. Az egyes rétegeken „Kohén”,
„Lévi” hímzett füllel. A „Jiszrael” részről a fül hiányzik.
Kelet-Magyarország, 1910-es évek. Átmérője: 37 cm.
Matzah cover, round, three layered, white silk and cloth, needlepoint
embroidered yellow floral ornaments and Hebrew inscription: the ingredients of
the seder plate and „Next year in Jerusalem.” Wavy border and golden fringes
around. On each of the layers „Kohen”, „Levi” embroidered ears. The „Yisrael”
ear is missing. Eastern Hungary, 1910s. Diameter: 14 ½ inches.

és a macesz héber betűs áldásával, S. E. hímzett monogrammal. Három rétegű,
minden rétegnél a megfelelő (Kohén, Lévi és Jiszraél) héber betűs hímzett
füllel, paszomány szegéllyel. Nyugat-Magyarország, 19. sz. második fele. Tökéletes
állapotban. Négyzet alakú, méret: 36 x 36cm.
Matzah cover, hand made with embroidered color glass pearls, in the form
of a fruit basket, floral ornaments and the Hebrew prayer for the matzah, SE
initials. Three layered, on each of the layers Hebrew embroidered ears (Kohen,
Levi, Yisrael), bordered with bullion. Western Hungary, second half of the 19th
century. In perfect condition. Square, size: 14 x 14 inches.
